Lane Men's Basketball player earns Academic Award
Sophomore Basketball player, Daniel Ketchum, was named to the NWAACC All-Academic Sports Team. Daniel, a guard for the Titans, has a cumulative GPA of 3.28. Each award winner had to have at least the following credentials:
- Sophomore in Eligibility
- Minimumof 36 Credits Earned
- 3.25 Cumulative GPA
- Recommended by the College
Titan Basketball Alum in NAIA Tourney
Junior Forward, Ethan Guiles, and his California Maritime Academy teammates won the California Pacific Conference and are now headed to the NAIA National Tournament. Guiles played at Lane the last two years. Please see the link for the full story.
Former Titan Hoops Player earns honor at Iowa Wesleyan College
Former Titan forward, Kyle Warner, was given Midwest Collegiate Conference Honorable Mention this past season at Iowa Wesleyan College. Warner played two years at Lane, and as a sophomore averaged 15.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Three Titan Basketball players named to All-Star List
The Lane Men's Basketball team had some local talent recognized in the voting for the 2011-12 Southern Region All-Star awards. The awards are voted on by all the coaches in the Southern Region after all the regular season games have been played. Please see the list below for the Titans who were recognized.
