One point ends Lady Titans' season
KENNEWICK, WA - Skagit Valley outlasted the Lane women in an 84-83 win on Monday afternoon. This was the second loss for the women in the NWAACC Tournament, which means their season has come to a close. Despite outscoring the Cardinals 48-40 in the second half, Lane's low field-goal percentage in the first half appeared to be too detrimental to come back from. The lone sophomore, Reed Levings, ended her Lane career with a double-double scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Kersey Wilcox had a big night with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists; as did Danielle Schmidt with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Megan Shields added 11 points and 6 rebounds. The loss gives the Lady Titans a 24-6 overall season record, and they went 13-1 in the Southern Region to clinch their division (pictured at left).
