Grizzel-Hardie has four-win day for Lane
OREGON CITY — Christina Grizzel-Hardie won four events to lead the Lane Community College women to a win at the Clackamas Three-Way track and field meet Saturday afternoon.
Grizzel-Hardie won the hammer with a personal-best throw of 135 feet, 9 inches. She also won the javelin (139-2), discus (126-0) and shot put (39-5) to help the Titans score 177 1/2 points.
Clackamas was third with 111 and Clark College was third at 64 1/2.
Also for Lane, Sam Berryman won the 100-meter hurdles (15.44 seconds) and high jump (5-3), Angelyn Salyer won the 400 (59.60) and 800 (2:31.0) and Kim Wilson won the triple jump (35-11 1/4) and 100 (12.8).
The Titans also won the men’s meet with 143 points, getting individual victories from Dusty Jarvis in the 100 (11.2), Miles Walk in the shot put (46-6 3/4) and Robbie Fegles in the pole vault (15-7).
