	&nbsp;Seeing much success as a high schooler, Elias Gedyon recently made the move to Eugene. &nbsp;Elias comes to Lane as a 3-time CIF Cross Country State Champion, as well as a 2-time CIF Track State Champion at Loyola High School in Los Angeles.&nbsp; This past summer he had a runner-up finish in the 1500 at the USATF National Junior Championships.&nbsp; He has PRs of 1:51.91 in the 800, 3:47.65-1500, 4:02.08-Mile, 8:50-2Mile, and 14:52-5k.

	EVERETT, Wash. — Lane’s men finished third at the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges cross country championships Saturday, paced by top finisher Daniel Silvey in 13th, at Legion Memorial Golf Course.

	The Titan men scored 102 points, behind champion Everett with 21 and Spokane with 69. Silvey covered the 8,000 meters in 25 minutes, 23 seconds, with teammate Ryan Perry right behind in 14th in 25:27. Everett’s Berekep Piatt was the individual champion in 24:32.

	OREGON CITY — Kiki McDonagh scored off a feed from Kenzie Harding in the fifth minute, and Lane made that goal hold up for a 1-0 victory over Clackamas in the season-ending NWAACC women’s soccer game on Wednesday.

	Erin Lewis earned the shutout in goal and had six saves for the Titans (8-7-3, 7-6-1 Southern Region), who earned the league’s No. 2 berth to the NWAACC playoffs.

	Lane will open the NWAACC playoffs at home on Nov. 9 against the No. 3 seed from the West Region.

SPOKANE — Spokane Community College  swept team titles at the NWAACC  track and field championships on its  home track Tuesday, with Lane’s  men and women finishing third.


Lane’s men got wins by Dusty Jarvis in the 200 in 21.85 seconds, and Jordan Latt in the 400, in 47.96.
Jarvis also was second in the 100, and Cesar Perez was second in the 5,000.

Ever since Dan West was a fifth grader at Powers Elementary School, he loved pole vaulting.
It was in that Coos County town that he first discovered a sport in a   back alley where neighborhood kids had constructed a makeshift pit  made  of sawdust.

The victory sends the Storm (14-12) to the   NWAACC Tournament in Pasco, Wash., beginning Friday as the region’s No.  4  seed. Lane’s season ended at 13-13.

		The Titans have had games cancelled, such as Saturday’s league doubleheader against Mount Hood in Gresham. 	Lane Community College 's Travis Stevens nipped the University of Oregon Club team's John Boosinger at the finish line to win the college men's race Saturday at the Northwest Cross Country Classic at Lane .

	
	Stevens and Boosinger each had a time of 21 minutes, 10 seconds on the 6,400-meter course.

	OREGON CITY - Leah Twombly won the women's 5,000-meter race, and the Lane Community College cross country teams swept the team titles at the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Southern Region Championships Saturday at Clackamas.
